Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia sign agreement in vital sectors

Senior officials from Ethiopia led by Foreign Minister Ambassador Taye Atske-selassie held productive discussions with their counterparts from Saudi Arabia. This is reported by ENA.

 

Ethiopia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, known for their long-standing diplomatic ties, used the platform to explore avenues for further co-operation. Representatives of the two countries discussed various areas of mutual interest with a focus on strengthening existing relations.

 

To cement their commitments, the two sides signed an agreement covering co-operation in vital sectors such as peace and security, trade, investment, livestock, agriculture, infrastructure, energy and minerals. This comprehensive agreement lays the foundation for increased bilateral co-operation and economic growth.

 

Both sides expressed interest in utilising their resources to promote economic development.
