Moscow, 18 February 2025 – In a significant step towards enhancing bilateral defence cooperation, Colonel General Alexander Fomin, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, met with Vinay Kumar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India, to sign a landmark intergovernmental agreement.
The agreement simplifies procedures for collaboration between the defence ministries of both nations, facilitating the organisation of joint military exercises, operations, and other cooperative endeavours.
