Representatives from the Russian Embassy in India actively participated in the International Conference “India AEO Dialogue: Enhancing Global Trade Partnerships”, held on 28-29 November in New Delhi.
The high-profile event brought together customs authorities, international organisations, and major Indian enterprises to discuss the development and promotion of the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) system. Deliberations centred around enhancing its adoption among business stakeholders and refining mechanisms for collaboration under mutual recognition agreements between customs services worldwide.

Igor Ten, the representative of the Federal Customs Service in Russia, delivered a comprehensive presentation on Russia’s AEO programme in India. He highlighted its features, implementation strategies, and progress under the bilateral AEO agreement with India, underscoring the growing trade facilitation opportunities between the two nations.
