The UAE Billiards Federation ranking tournament concluded on Sunday. Mahmood Sharif took the first place, Talal Al Balushi was the second and Abdullah Juma was the third.
The athletes will take part in the West Asian Championships, the Arab Federation Cup in Bahrain and the World Cup in Saudi Arabia
Essa Al Balushi, head coach of the UAE national billiards team, explained that the qualifiers, which were held in an open system and were attended by a large number of players, qualified the top 8 players at the UAE level for the two decisive rounds. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
He confirmed that the World Billiards Championship, which will be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh from 3 to 6 June, will be attended by only one player, Talal Al Balushi.
