Belarus and Iran advance trade agreement on cable and wire products

Belarus and Iran are in discussions to finalise a trade agreement for the supply of cable and wire products, according to BelTA, a partner of TV BRICS.

The topic was a key focus during B2B negotiations between business representatives from both countries, held at the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture.

As part of the Belarusian business delegation’s visit to Iran, companies from various sectors were represented, including confectionery production, cable and wire manufacturing, logistics, and investment.

Among the key developments, agreements were reached on promoting Belarusian confectionery products in Iran, and discussions are ongoing regarding a letter of intent for cable and wire product exports. Additionally, efforts are underway to launch a joint construction project, particularly in the high-tech equipment sector.

During the business mission, Belarusian delegates held meetings with the Belarusian Ambassador to Iran, Dmitry Koltsov, as well as senior embassy advisors and representatives of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Iran.
