India-Russia Business Dialogue to discuss strengthening of bilateral business ties

The XV India-Russia Business Dialogue was held in Moscow on 11 December. TV BRICS was the event’s media partner.

The event was attended by diplomats, representatives of the business community and authorities. The focus of attention was on the current economic agenda and prospects for the development of business relations between Russia and India.

The main event of the meeting was a plenary session dedicated to building a strategic partnership between states and companies, ensuring sustainable growth and finding answers to challenges in the trade, as well as the economic sphere.

The dialogue was moderated by Sammy Kotwani, President of the Indian Business Alliance. Sergey Cheremin, Head of the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow, Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to Russia, and Denis Alipov, Ambassador of Russia to India, participated in the discussion.

The programme also included sessions related to the development of banking and finance, logistics, agribusiness, healthcare and biotechnology, education and innovation, and the realisation of the trade and industrial potential of the two countries.

The India-Russia Business Dialogue is an important platform for expanding bilateral trade, exchanging experiences and ideas, and jointly seeking ways to develop economic cooperation. With the participation of senior government officials and CEOs of leading companies, the meeting would help build business ties and contacts.

The event was organised by the Indian Business Alliance, the Business Council for Cooperation with India, the Moscow City Government and the Roscongress Foundation.
