Over 350 eager students from Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School recently explored a world of possibilities for studying in Russia, thanks to an engaging session hosted by the Russian House in Chennai. The event introduced students to the Russian Government Scholarship Program, a unique opportunity for Indian students to pursue tuition-free higher education in Russia.
In addition to learning about the scholarship program, students were treated to a dynamic Russian language trial class, where they enthusiastically engaged with new words and phrases. This was followed by an interactive quiz, “What Do You Know About Russia?”, which tested their knowledge of Russian culture, history, and heritage. The students displayed impressive awareness and curiosity, highlighting their enthusiasm for educational and cultural exchange with Russia.
The event was made possible with the generous support of Dr. M. Chithra (MSc, MEd, MPhil), Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School. Her dedication to enriching students’ global perspectives helped bring this unique and valuable experience to the students.
