The Trade Mission of Russia in India, based in Mumbai, recently held a strategic meeting with representatives of Tea1888, one of India’s leading tea producers. Tea1888 expressed strong interest in entering the Russian market, not only by supplying finished products but also by exploring opportunities to establish local production facilities within Russia. The company’s vision is to foster long-term partnerships with Russian enterprises and expand its footprint in this growing market.
In alignment with these goals, Tea1888 is set to participate in the prestigious 33rd International Autumn Food Exhibition, World Food Moscow, taking place from September 17 to 20, 2024, at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre. This participation will be part of the delegation led by the Indian Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), a key government body dedicated to boosting Indian exports and promoting international trade. The Indian pavilion at World Food Moscow will feature a vibrant showcase of more than 20 companies, spanning various food categories. Furthermore, the Spice Board of India will host a special section spotlighting 20 of the country’s leading spice producers and suppliers. This dedicated space will highlight the unique diversity of Indian spices, offering Russian businesses and consumers a taste of the rich culinary traditions that India has to offer.
The World Food Moscow exhibition represents a pivotal platform for Indian companies to introduce their products to the Russian market and foster strategic collaborations. With the growing demand for high-quality food products, Indian exporters are keen to explore deeper trade ties, ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship between both nations.
