Tunisia hosts First National Forum on Vocational Training

In the presence of numerous ministers and leaders of national organisations and centres involved in the field of vocational training, the first national conference on vocational training was held in Tunis. This is reported by Tunis Afrique Presse, a partner of TV BRICS.

Officials claim that the conference is a component of the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training plan to advance and enhance vocational education in order to boost Tunisia’s business and the country’s economy.

The event covers a wide range of subjects with the goal of bringing attention to training programmes and fostering networking between banks and individuals looking for funding for initiatives, particularly in the areas of information technology, application development, and creative industries.

According to the source, around 1,700 workers and employees will get basic training in eight centres by 2024, and an additional 2,000 will gain from ongoing training as part of the entire quality system and training for workers in the tourist and crafts industries.

The first event will feature interactive panels with professionals, government officials, company executives, and young people to talk about the strategic issues that face vocational training in Tunisia.
