An air services agreement between the Government of Russia and the Government of Tanzania has been signed at the Russian Ministry of Transport.
Vladimir Poteshkin, Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, and Fredrick Ibrahim Kibuta, Ambassador of Tanzania to Russia, put their signatures under this document. The main purpose of this agreement is to expand air traffic between Russia and Tanzania.
The parties agreed on joint application of their national laws regarding carriers, co-operation in the field of flight safety.
“The agreement fixes the principles of operation of contractual lines, provisions on collection of airport charges, customs duties on movement of goods, regulation of tariffs of designated carriers,” the Ministry of Transport said.
