Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has described his country’s relations with BRICS and BRICS+ member countries as “extraordinary”.

Venezuela maintains excellent relations with the BRICS member countries, the president said through the presidential press channel, quoted by teleSUR, a partner of TV BRICS.

Maduro also stressed Venezuela’s intention to join the countries that are members of the organisation and the benefits of belonging to the group.

During his speech, he also thanked Russia, China and Cuba for supplying vaccines during the emergency caused by the coronavirus.
