Indian Ambassador of Zimbabwe Vijay Khanduja noted that his country is ready to strengthen economic ties and support the local health sector, including cancer control. This is reported by ZBC News a partner of TV BRICS.
“Our relations throw us back to the Mutapa State and the struggle for Zimbabwe’s independence, and now we are developing them in the economic and health spheres. We are discussing cooperation in the fight against cancer with the donation of cancer screening machines,” he said.
Zimbabwe and India have fruitful ties in the health, agriculture and education sectors. Last year, Zimbabwe attended18th India-Africa conclave in New Delhi to discuss economic areas of co-operation.
