Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with UAE’s President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his current visit to Abu Dhabi. The two sides discussed the close relations between the UAE and Egypt, along with various aspects of co-operation and collaboration aimed at advancing their mutual interests.
According to Ahmed Abu Zeid, spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Abdelatty expressed his hope to deepen economic and investment co-operation between the countries. He stressed the importance of realising the achievements made in bilateral relations, especially in the fields of economy, trade, stressing the need to increase Emirati investments in Egypt. Abdelatti also highlighted the importance of the participation of Emirati investors in strengthening the close bilateral ties between Egypt and the UAE, emphasising the unwavering support that the Egyptian government is ready to provide to all investors. Both officials highlighted shared aspirations for development and prosperity within the framework of the strategic relationship between the two nations, encompassing economic, developmental, political, and other key areas.
