Russian Delegation Visits Raxaul Land Port on Indian-Nepal Border

Raxaul, Bihar– Representatives from the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Igor Ten and Vitaly Anokhin, undertook a significant visit to the Raxaul Land Port in Bihar, strategically positioned on the Indian-Nepalese border. This landmark event underscored the growing cooperation between Russian and Indian customs authorities.

 

During the tour, Indian customs officials showcased their state-of-the-art automated border crossing infrastructure and a cutting-edge information system designed to facilitate seamless inter-agency collaboration. The advanced systems reflect India’s commitment to modernising its trade and border management processes, enabling smoother international commerce and heightened security.


In a meeting characterised by mutual respect and forward-looking dialogue, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration on customs practices.
