Noida, Uttar Pradesh — The 8th IndusFood International Exhibition commenced on January 8, 2025, presenting an unparalleled platform to showcase innovative food products, and cutting-edge technologies, and foster international trade partnerships. Organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI) and supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India, the event serves as a vital conduit for global trade collaborations.
The prestigious inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries, including India’s Minister of Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan; TPCI Chairman, Mohit Singla; and Chairman of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Abhishek Drev.
Adding to the event’s international prominence, Alexander Rybas, Trade Representative of Russia in India, actively participated in the exhibition. During the event, Mr Rybas engaged with Russian and Indian business delegates, offering consultations on entering the respective markets and promoting bilateral trade relations.
IndusFood 2025 attracted over 80,000 participants from 60 countries, with approximately 2,000 exhibitors showcasing a diverse array of products. Among the event’s highlights were 20 national pavilions, including a prominent Russian pavilion featuring leading companies such as OOOProdex, OOO Lunskoye More, and OOO Frutti.
Russian exhibitors displayed a keen interest in supplying high-quality seafood, particularly fish, to the Indian market. Special emphasis was placed on exploring opportunities in India’s popular tourist destinations, such as Goa and Kerala, which present immense potential for boosting product visibility and sales.
The Russian Trade Mission provided strategic support to participating companies, facilitating meaningful business interactions and paving the way for future collaborations. Key agreements were reached to enhance market access for Russian products in India and to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
