Mumbai, India– January 2025: A significant meeting took place at the headquarters of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), India’s largest private enterprise, between Nikhil Meswani, Executive Director and Board Member of RIL, and E.V. Griva, Deputy Trade Representative of the Russian Federation.
The discussions centred on enhancing bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including crude oil supply chains, innovative petrochemical ventures, and opportunities for Indian participation in large-scale infrastructure and educational projects in Russia. Both parties expressed optimism about strengthening ties, aiming for mutually beneficial outcomes across energy and industrial domains.
An essential highlight of the meeting was the agreement to hold follow-up discussions in February during India Energy Week 2025, Delhi’s leading oil and gas exhibition. These upcoming meetings are expected to include focused dialogues between senior RIL executives and representatives of Russian energy and industrial firms, with active support from the Russian Trade Mission.
This collaboration underscores the commitment of both nations to deepening economic and industrial cooperation, leveraging shared expertise and long-standing diplomatic ties
