World’s largest ice rink opens in St. Petersburg

The world’s largest ice rink in the Gulf of Finland has been launched in the Russian city of St. Petersburg, as reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.

The record was recorded in the Russian Book of Records, which indicates that the track has a surface area of 28,000 square metres, enough for more than 2,500 people to skate.

The rink, according to the source, will be an ideal choice for St. Petersburg residents, especially those who love spending time outdoors.

The rink is expected to welcome one million visitors this season and offer a new tour of the city.

The facility has 48 comfortable pavilions with skate rentals, changing rooms, cafeterias, heating points, and other necessary infrastructure. The rink is filled with 12 ice machines. Thanks to the artificial surface, the facility is available to ice skating enthusiasts until early April.
