Venezuela’s Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez arrived in New Delhi to strengthen cooperation with India. This is reported by teleSUR, a partner of TV BRICS. Rodriguez announced this on his social networks, where she said: “We have come to the great India to strengthen our bonds of friendship and cooperation with this brotherly country”.
After her arrival, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared a post in social media, “Warm welcome to Executive Vice President of Venezuela as she arrives in India on a working visit. Her visit will provide an opportunity to further strengthen bilateral ties.”
Then, Executive Vice President of Venezuela Delcy Rodriguez met India’s Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar at Upa-Rashtrapati Nivas. Both officials discussed strengthening the cordial relations between India and Venezuela and further bolstering the trade, economic and people-to-people partnership between the two nations.
Rodriguez arrived in the Asian country from Russia, where she attended the BRICS summit in Kazan accompanied by President Nicolas Maduro.
