“Joint activities of the BRICS countries in the field of cinema are a promising and promising area of international cooperation, which opens up completely new formats and offers unexpected creative solutions. The experience of making the film ‘Dostoevsky Intercontinental’ has taught us to find understanding in the main thing – the meaning of human life and unifying spiritual and moral guidelines, despite the difference of times, cultures, traditions and views of our contemporaries from different countries. The project sets national accents in the interpretation of Dostoevsky’s phenomenon and explains why Russian culture unites peoples and is so close to every person on Earth. TV BRICS is considering the possibility of creating a trilogy, supplemented by similar international projects about Tolstoy and Chekhov”
