The competition brought together business professionals, civil servants, and students, showcasing their expertise in strategic management and decision-making.

Among the distinguished participants, Russia was represented by the team “5 at the Top!” – comprised of semi-finalists and finalists from the prestigious Leaders of Russia management competition. The team’s members have been recognised for their exceptional leadership and managerial skills, making them standout contenders in the global arena. The Russian delegation was led by high-ranking representatives from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) of the Presidential Academy. The group included Vyacheslav Shoptenko, Deputy Director of IPAM and Head of GMC in Russia, Alla Tupikova, Deputy Director of the Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies at IPAM, and Alexander Solovyov, Director of Projects at the Centre.

The international competition culminated in a tense yet thrilling final, where teams were evaluated based on their performance in the Investment Attractiveness Index. Teams from China, India, and Macau secured the top three positions, reinforcing their standing as emerging global leaders in business management. Organised by the All India Organisation of Employers (AIOE), in association with the International Organising Committee of the GMC, the event was a key opportunity for fostering international collaboration in business education and development. During their stay in New Delhi, the Russian delegation also held productive meetings with representatives from the Russian Trade Mission and the Embassy of Russia in India. Discussions centred on expanding Russian business education initiatives in India, including potential partnerships with Indian universities for MBA programs and the introduction of Russian language courses in Indian institutions.

The Global Management Challenge continues to be a platform for innovation, leadership, and cross-border cooperation, reflecting the shared commitment to cultivating the next generation of global business leaders.
