The Iranian pavilion presented 70 books translated from Persian into Russian at the exhibition in Moscow. This is reported by IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS.
Among the main themes of the works at the fair are Persian language teaching, Islamic studies, Iranian studies, and Iranian literature.
Representatives of the Iranian side noted that books about the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran and contemporary figures of the country aroused more interest among the Russian audience compared to other works. More than 300 publishing houses from Russia and other countries participated in the 37th edition of the exhibition. The five-day event included book presentations, meetings with authors, lectures, discussions, and masterclasses.
The Moscow International Book Fair is considered an important international event in the Russian book industry and the main annual event for this sphere.
