Iran to host the 15th Nanotechnology Exhibition

The 15th Nanotechnology Exhibition is scheduled to be held in Tehran on November 3–6, 2024. The event is expected to promote market expansion, increase the number of innovative companies, and boost exports in various industrial fields. This is reported by Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.

 

The nanotechnology sector is one of the areas that has grown significantly in recent years, bringing the nation to the fourth rank in the world.

 

According to the latest statistics, Iran’s nanotechnology products are exported to 48 countries. In the current Iranian calendar year, which ends on March 20, 2025, a total of 1,808 nanotechnology products have been produced and sold in 15 different industries based on domestic technologies.

 

Nanotechnology is a branch of basic and applied science and technology that deals with controlled manipulation of individual atoms and molecules to produce products with a specific atomic structure, as well as theoretical justification and useful research, analysis, and synthesis techniques.
