The President of the Indian Business Alliance and the Indian Cultural and National Center “Sita” Sammy Kotwani told RIA Novosti about his intention to build the first mandir – a Hindu temple – in the capital.
“The temple will not only be a religious and spiritual center for the Indian diaspora in Russia, but also a cultural center for everyone interested in the multinational Indian civilization. Thus, the Hindu temple in Moscow will become not only a center of unity and a point of attraction for Indian culture, but also evidence of strong connections between the peoples of our countries. Among other things, the temple will become one of the attractions of the capital. Its appearance will significantly increase the number of Indian tourists,” says the letter to the authorities about permission to build the first Hindu temple in Moscow, the text of which he provided to RIA Novosti.
