In the first year of Brazilian President Lula Da Silva’s third term, a comprehensive analysis of 99 indicators shows significant progress in various sectors. According to data collected from the ministry, IBGE and the Central Bank, most indicators covering areas such as the economy, health and education have improved significantly compared to previous periods.
In the economic sphere, the country made progress on 24 points, among which the growth in gross domestic product (GDP) and the fight against inflation stand out. This is reported by Brasil 247, a partner of TV BRICS. In education, important initiatives such as the revival of social programmes and investment in literacy were implemented.
In the health sector, despite the difficulties in the fight against dengue fever, hospital accommodation and the implementation of procedures in the Unified Health System (SUS) have improved.
