The tournament, which was held with the support of the UAE Embassy in Moscow and under the personal patronage of the UAE Ambassador to Russia Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Essa Al Jaber, took place from 12 to 15 December.

Guests of honour at the competition included the UAE Ambassador and representatives of the diplomatic mission, dignitaries from the Russian Ministry of Sport, and residents of Middle Eastern embassies.

The determination of the Cup winner will occur during the Grand Prix, and a show programme and a ceremonial parade of the participants are also envisaged.

Among the announced participants are the names of the current Russian champion Mikhail Shemshelev, finalist of the World Cup 2023 and 2024 Nurjon Tuyakbaev, and the first UAE Cup winner Bogdan Vaskovsky.

One of the main features of the Grand Prix is the height of the decisive route – 160 cm, which is the maximum in the Russian sporting calendar. The UAE Cup is renowned for its technical difficulty and only the best couples from the Eurasian region take part in it.
